Comparison between SFTs with window tail sizes 512 and 1024, run D, using averaged norm
Overview
I created SFTs for the same 1800-second segment using window sizes 512 and 1024.
The following lines were suppressed during run D:
- 41.25 Hz all harmonics
- 59.95 - 60.05 Hz all harmonics
- 151.30 Hz all harmonics
- 973.30 Hz all harmonics
- 1442.00 Hz all harmonics
The power plots describe the difference between power computed from SFT coefficients.
The SFT plots describe the distance between two coefficients as complex numbers.
Two flavors of plots are available for comparison:
- "Absolute" plots are distance between these two numbers, as is.
- Relative plots divide the value by the averaged value of power (or square root of it, as appropriate)
computed using data for SFT with window tail size 1024.
The averaging was produced using the current and previous 63 bins. The reason it is not centered on the bin
is because this was easier to implement with current code.
All plots are logarithmic.
